Maybelline Fall Collection 2012

It's always awesome when you walk in to CVS and find what you're looking for. I was able to get my hand on Maybelline Fall Collection 2012. This collection contains 4 quads, 4 color tattoos and lipsticks.

The only thing that caught my eye was the color tattoos and the quads. I purchased one color tattoo and one quad.

All the palette are limited edition and gorgeous! The one that caught my eye right away was Cozy Cashmere. This palette has the most soft and buttery eyeshadows that I have ever tried from the drug stores.

The first shades in this palette is a very shimmery champion, second shades is also a shimmery brown/bronze, 3rd shade is a muddy red/ brown ( dupe for Mac Saffron) and the last shade is a matte dark brown.
The last thing I picked up from this collection was a color tattoo in Barely Beige. It's a shimmery champion, a perfect dupe for Mac Bare Study paint pot.

Estée Lauder Violet Underground

This palette is new and limited  edition on  Estée Lauder web page. I also think you could find this in Nordstrom.

This is my second EL palette and it's my favorite one so far. At first I thought that the hot pink shade was to much, but it's not. All the color work great together, they blend well and the pigmentation on these are AWESOME.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain are a new product that is very similar to Tarte LipSurgence.

These balm stain have caused a huge buzz in the beauty community.  They come in 12 shades and the price varies from location.

With a crayon (chubby) like shape help’s for an easy and fast application.   They have a minty feel, not too over powering, on the lips.  They go on like a balm, but with time they go fading and leaving behind a natural stain on the lips.

Lovesick 020- hot pink

Rendezvous 040- true orange
Lovesick 020, Rendezvous 040

I prefer Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain over Tarte  LipSurgence any day of the week.
Have you tried Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain?

ELF Baked Blush

ELF has released new baked blush recently.  The minute I saw these I wanted them to compare them to MAC mineralize blushes.   These blushes go for $3 ($20 less then MAC!) on ELF webpage, containing .21 oz/6g of product.  Mac mineralize blushes go for $23, containing 3.5 g / 0.11oz of product.  The packing on these are really sleek and very good quality.

These blushes have great payoff, the feel to this are not to chalky or powdery. For my skin tone I could only use two shades as blushes and the other two as highlights.

Passion Pink

Rich Rose

Peachy Cheeks
Pinktastic, Passion Pink, Rich Rose and Peachy Cheeks

Pinktastic- is a perfect highlight color for me.  It’s a soft champagne/pink.

Passion Pink- beautiful peach with bronze swirls.

Rich Rose- deep rose with bronze swirls.

Peachy Cheeks- soft peach with bronze/grey swirls.

MAC Shop Collection

Today featured product or from MAC new collection Shop, COOK MAC.   The collection is pretty big, but I had my eye set on some things.  I got two cremeblend blushes and one quad.
The package is so cute! It’s only a sleeve, but so cute.

From left top: Call me bubbles, Fresh daily, Full of flavour and Brash
The quad has some gorgeous orange color in it with a pretty pink shade that complements the orange shades.   This one was the only one that caught my eye the other ones were ok, but nothing unique.   The pigmentation in this quad is great, all the color blend out great and work well with each other.

Cremeblend blush package

Optimistic orange
I’ve been LOVING blush! For almost 6 month now I can’t stop buying them.  These two are awesome.  The pigmentation on this is AWESOME and very creamy.
Optimistic orange is a true orange color.  It’s applied very pigmented but after you blend it, its’ a lot more wearable.

This collection is pretty cool so get your hands on it is you could.

*NEW* Tarte Spring Blush

Tarte released four new shades for their Amazonian clay blushes.   The minute I saw these on their webpage I ordered them.  I absolutely love these blushes, the color payoff is amazing any the packaging is great.

Frisky is very similar to Tipsy, the only deferent   (the glitter obviously) is that it’s more coral.

Adored is very similar to Dollface, but adored is more of a lilac color.
These blushes are all glittery; none of them have a matte finish. I thought when I got these that there were going to be a like Blushing Bride. Blushing Bride is shimmery, but not over the top, it’s still very wearable. These however are a little more on the heavy side.
I find that if you tap of very lightly your brush you can get rid of most of the glitter.
